Reporting
You already do this in your head every evening — how much came in, what sold, who owes. Lekhita writes it down, so the answer is the same no matter how tired you are. Here is exactly which numbers exist, and which ones do not yet.
The home screen is the daily report
Today's sales total and bill count sit on the home screen the moment you open the app. If the numbers could not load — bad network, for example — Lekhita says so instead of showing you a zero. A zero and “could not load” are very different things when it is your money.
The day-end report
Close the counter with one screen: today's total, the split by how customers paid, the number of bills, the average bill and the day's top items. It is under More, and it is the report worth opening every single evening — checking it against your own sense of the day is how you catch a missed or double-entered sale while you still remember it.
Note that the day it covers follows your phone's clock, not a server somewhere. Your day ends when your day ends.
The business dashboard
Under More, over the last 7, 30 or 90 days, or all time:
- Six numbers at the top: revenue, orders, average order value, customers, products, and orders still pending.
- A revenue trend — a day-by-day bar for the window you picked, so the week building or the dip that needs explaining is visible at a glance.
- Your top products, ranked by revenue with units sold alongside. Reorder from this, not from memory.
- The payment mix — how your money actually arrived — so the till, the QR and the bank statement reconcile.
What is not here yet
- Per-branch reporting. If you run several outlets, the dashboard is business-wide; every sale stores its branch, but nothing groups by it yet.
- Any financial-year view. Reports cover today, this week, this month and rolling windows — there is no April-to-March bucket, which is the one that matters at filing time.
- A GST liability summary. It does not exist in the app. If you have seen that claimed anywhere on this site, it was wrong and has been removed.
- Returns netted into the day-end report — it shows completed sales.
- Profit. Lekhita reports revenue, not margin; it does not know your cost price well enough to be trusted with the difference.
Getting the data out
Your data is yours, and export is free on every plan, always. Two files, from two screens — not from the dashboard:
- From the orders list: one row per bill — bill number, date, customer name and phone, total, currency, payment mode and status. It exports exactly what you are looking at, so search or filter first.
- From the customer list: name, phone and email, again for whatever the list is currently showing.
- Your items do not export yet. If you need your catalogue out, ask us on WhatsApp and we will get it to you.
Both files open in Excel or Google Sheets. For moving between accounting tools, see Tally & data export.
