Batches, attendance and fees — out of the register, into your phone
You teach; the register, the fee copy and the reminder calls eat the rest of the evening. Lekhita runs the business side of a tuition or coaching class so the evening goes back to teaching.
Before the next class

Batches on a timetable
Class 10 maths at 4, class 12 physics at 6 — put each batch in as a booking with its timing, its fee and its students. Batches do not repeat themselves automatically yet, so a standing weekly slot is entered rather than generated.
Attendance in ten seconds
Tick off who came as the batch settles down. Month-end, you know exactly how many classes each student attended — useful for you, decisive with parents.
Fee dues, written down
Each student's fees are a running account: what was due, what was paid, what remains. The awkward part of tuition — asking — starts from a fact, not a guess.
Fee reminders on WhatsApp
Send a polite month-start reminder with the amount and a UPI link, straight from the student's page — you press send each time. Parents pay to your account directly; Lekhita takes no cut and never sees the money, so you mark the fee received yourself.
A receipt for every payment
Every fee payment gets a proper receipt, shareable on WhatsApp with a link parents can open in the browser. Receipts build the trust that fills next year's batch.
The month at a glance
Collections this month, dues outstanding, batch strength — the numbers that decide whether to open one more batch, without an evening of copy-work.
What Lekhita is not
Lekhita is not an LMS — there are no online tests, homework uploads or video lessons, and we are not building them. It runs the business of your classes: batches, attendance, fees, dues, receipts. Two honest limits while you decide: a monthly fee is recorded as a due you enter, not as a subscription that raises itself each month, and nothing sends a reminder on its own — you tap send. If you also teach online, Lekhita sits alongside your Zoom or YouTube setup, keeping the accounts straight.
Free while in early access
Add your batches and students in one sitting — the getting-started guide shows how, in English or Hindi.
