Changelog

What changed, in plain words — including what was broken. Lekhita is in early access; expect this page to move fast.

20 August 2026

A truth pass, on the app and this site

  • When today's numbers can't load (weak network), the app now says so instead of showing ₹0 — a zero and "couldn't load" are different things.
  • This site now carries one honest identity: the real registered address everywhere, dead app-store buttons removed until those builds exist, and the broken "request a call" form replaced by WhatsApp and email that actually reach us.
  • The version number shown in the app is now always the version you are actually running.

14 August 2026

Money shown is money charged

  • Fixed: a ₹5,000 deposit typed into a booking form was being saved and shown as ₹5,00,000.
  • Fixed: a coupon toast could announce one discount while the bill applied another. The toast and the bill now always agree.
  • Booking amounts were verified to survive the full round trip — typed, saved, synced, displayed — without losing a paisa.
  • Buttons across the app now announce themselves properly to screen readers.

13 August 2026

Wedding trades join Lekhita

  • Photographers, makeup artists, decorators, caterers and mehndi artists can now onboard as Lekhita businesses — with starter catalogues pre-filled for each trade, so setup starts from your work, not from a blank list.
  • Fixed: every money tile on the analytics dashboard was showing 100× the real amount.

10 August 2026

Bills your customers can open — without the app

  • Every bill can now be shared as a private link (lekhita.com/i/…) that opens in any browser. Send it on WhatsApp; your customer needs nothing installed.
  • Fixed: on multi-store businesses, every sale was being recorded against the first branch regardless of where it was billed.
  • Every business type now has its own icon in the app.

3 August 2026

Lekhita gets its own name

  • Lekhita begins as its own product with its own mark, wordmark and voice — business, written down.

A public status page (uptime and incidents) will follow once we exit early access. Until then, if something looks down, tell us on WhatsApp or at support@lekhita.com.
